How to Shazam

General

Get Shazam from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Play the song on any platform such as Spotify, YouTube, or Apple Music.

Android

  1. Open Shazam and allow microphone and location access.
  2. Tap the large Shazam button.
  3. Go to Shazam App Info (long-press the app icon).
  4. Storage → CLEAR DATA.
  5. Repeat during the same song play.
App Info → Permissions → Location → Allow while using the app

iOS

  1. Open Shazam and allow microphone and location access.
  2. Tap the Shazam button.
  3. Wait 24 hours before Shazaming again.

Chrome Extension

  1. Install Shazam from the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Pin the extension.
  3. Click Shazam while the song is playing.
  4. Do not leave the tab.
  5. Delete recognition and repeat.
